Originating from the mountainous Fujian province, Oolong Milky Original is a precious handcrafted specialty, highly appreciated by lovers of smooth and subtle teas. It immediately charms with its natural milky fragrance and velvety mouthfeel, without being heavy or overly sweet. Its unique production process includes a key step: just after withering, the still-moist leaves are gently steamed over milk water, giving the tea its creamy, indulgent aroma while preserving its bright, olive-green hue. The leaves are then manually rolled and dried using traditional handcraft methods.
Once steeped, the tea reveals a pale golden-yellow liquor. The nose is gentle, offering soft aromas of warm milk, fresh butter, and white flowers. The palate is smooth and lightly sweet, with a creamy texture and a persistent finish evoking subtle biscuit notes. A remarkably delicate infusion.
