Blending and production

This XA rum is crafted from a blend of carefully selected rums aged for many years in oak casks. The tropical climate of Costa Rica accelerates the interaction between wood and spirit, encouraging the development of deep and complex aromas. The final blend is assembled with precision to achieve perfect harmony between fruit, wood, sweetness and spice.

Tasting notes

Appearance: Deep amber with dark mahogany highlights.
Nose: Rich and enveloping, marked by candied fruits, vanilla, caramel, cocoa and precious woods.
Palate: Full-bodied and silky, revealing flavours of honey, ripe fruits, gentle spices and toasted oak.
Finish: Very long and persistent, warm and elegantly spiced.

Serving temperature and tasting advice

Best enjoyed between 18 and 20°C, neat in a tulip-shaped glass to fully reveal its aromatic complexity. Allow the rum to rest briefly in the glass before tasting.
