Description
Bottega Gold Prosecco DOC Spumante Brut 11% celebrates the union of a luminous terroir and meticulous know-how. Born on the rolling slopes of the province of Treviso, in the heart of the Prosecco DOC zone, it showcases the elegance of the Glera grape in a very pure expression. Its fine, continuous perlage composes a glass of freshness, while the bouquet opens on green apple, crisp pear, white peach and citrus zest, caressed by floral notes of acacia, wisteria and lily of the valley, lifted by a hint of sage and gentle spice. On the palate, the feel is clean, airy and perfectly balanced, driven by bright acidity that enhances drinkability. Presented in its iconic golden bottle, this Prosecco suits both celebrations and everyday special moments, offering a luminous elegance that highlights the art of hosting with tact and generosity.
Blend and winemaking
Made primarily from Glera with possible additions of Chardonnay and Pinot depending on the blend, this Prosecco DOC is hand-harvested then gently pressed to preserve the grapes' aromatic integrity. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, around 14–15°C, over approximately 40 days to retain the brightness of the primary aromas. The secondary fermentation is conducted in tank, using a method that promotes a fine, regular effervescence. A carefully dosed lees contact adds delicate texture and aromatic stability without weighing down the wine's crystalline profile. The goal is clear: to enhance the freshness, fruity expression and floral clarity typical of Prosecco, while ensuring perfect harmony between nose and palate.
Tasting notes
- Appearance: Bright straw yellow with golden highlights, crossed by a fine, persistent effervescence. The clarity and brilliance of the disc announce a precise, generous expression.
- Nose: Fresh and charming, focused on green apple, Williams pear and white peach, underlined by citrus zest. Floral nuances of acacia, wisteria and lily of the valley follow, with a touch of sage and subtle spice.
- Palate: A lively, clean attack; the body is light and refreshing, balancing tension and softness. The acidic thread lengthens the tasting, the brut dosage remains discreet and the finish, clean and sapid, invites a second glass.
Serving temperature and tips
Serve very chilled, between 4 and 5°C, in tulip glasses to channel the effervescence and enhance the floral bouquet. Open the bottle at the last moment to preserve the liveliness of the perlage and keep it in an ice bucket during service. This Prosecco is best enjoyed young to fully appreciate its sparkling freshness and bright fruit.

- Aperitifs: Italian antipasti, Taggiasca olives, lightly fried seafood, vegetable tempura, Comté gougères.
