Description
Located in the heart of the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, Château Franc Grâce-Dieu expresses the richness of its clay-limestone terroir. The 2014 vintage, marked by remarkable balance, embodies the alliance between tradition and precision.
Blend and winemaking
This grand cru is crafted mainly from Merlot, which brings roundness and generous fruit, complemented by Cabernet Franc for finesse and freshness. Harvesting is carried out with great care, followed by vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Ageing in oak barrels, partly new, enhances aromatic complexity and elegance.
Tasting notes
Its deep ruby robe with garnet reflections opens to a complex bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant, lifted by spicy, vanilla, and subtle toasty notes. On the palate, the attack is supple and velvety, supported by fine, well-integrated tannins. The finish is long, fresh, and elegant.
