Description
Among the most desirable signatures of the House founded in 1729, the Ruinart - Coffret Urbaines Collection - Champagne AOC celebrates the union of taste and clever design. Conceived as a case with graphic restraint, its wooden box first presents itself as a tasting stage, then reinvents itself as an urban cellar, accommodating 3 to 6 bottles in an elegant, practical arrangement. Inside, three flagship expressions from Ruinart outline a complete sensory palette, from the fruity freshness of R de Ruinart Brut to the airy purity of Blanc de Blancs, through to the delicately indulgent brightness of the Rosé. For an inspired aperitif, a carefully planned dinner or an unforgettable gift, this trilogy embodies the promise of a suspended moment, where the precision of effervescence and the harmony of aromas become an art of living. Each bottle combines modernity and heritage, offering both the enthusiast and the curious drinker a clear reading of the Ruinart style, while ensuring a versatile, accessible and decidedly refined experience.
Assemblage et vinification
The box brings together three emblematic cuvées from the House. R de Ruinart Brut, a signature of balance, blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier from a mosaic of crus for a fresh, straight and fruity expression. Blanc de Blancs is a 100% Chardonnay champagne, crafted from a selection of crus renowned for their finesse, offering a crystalline profile with luminous elegance. Ruinart Rosé is born from the alliance of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a historic expression of the House which was among the very first to produce a rosé over two centuries ago. Each wine is made with the artisanal care typical of Ruinart, pursuing balance and the patience of cellar aging to express both freshness and depth, within an immediately recognisable stylistic coherence.
Notes de dégustation
- Appearance: A triptych of radiance, from the pale gold with luminous highlights of the Blanc de Blancs, to the bright light yellow of the Brut, and the delicate hues of the Rosé, all threaded by fine, regular effervescence.
- Nose: A carved palette of white-fleshed fruits and citrus for Blanc de Blancs, yellow fruits and subtle florals for the Brut, a touch of fresh red fruits and citrus zest for the Rosé, all underscored by pastry notes and a delicate mineral imprint.
- Palate: Clean, chiseled attacks, slender textures, a precise balance between tension and indulgence. The finish, clean and persistent, extends the freshness, revealing in turn purity, fruity breadth and a delicately spicy charm depending on the cuvée.
Serving temperature and tips
Serve between 8-10°C in tulip glasses to enhance aromatic expression and bubble finesse. Open each bottle a few minutes before serving to allow the bouquet to unfold. The case, designed for a second life, transforms into an elegant urban cellar, ideal for storing your champagnes away from light and temperature variations. For successful tasting moments, prioritise attentive service, gradual cooling and a well-set table so that the ritual elevates the experience as much as the wine.
Food pairings
- Aperitifs: citrus and fine herb tartlets, light gougères, white fish sashimi.
- Starters: scallop carpaccio, citrus ceviche, sea bream tartare with olive oil.
- Main courses: roasted free-range poultry, asparagus risotto, pan-seared sea bass with lemon emulsion.
- Cheeses: aged Comté, Chaource, young Parmesan, favouring creamy and fruity textures.
- Desserts: thin apple tart, pavlova with red fruits, lightly candied citrus.

An ideal case for a refined celebration, a dinner where perfect pairing sets the tone, or an insider gift, the Coffret Urbaines Collection makes an appearance at great and memorable occasions. It stages a refined gesture of sharing, where the object's aesthetics, usability and the precision of the wines compose a complete experience.
