This characterful cuvée expresses the structural finesse of Chambolle-Musigny in a delicate, profoundly expressive medium. The vines, planted on clay-limestone soils, deliver a finely chiselled interpretation of Pinot Noir, where mineral energy frames pure, vibrant fruit. The 2020 vintage, sunny yet balanced, produced outstanding ripeness and excellent acidity, giving rise to a wine both seductive and precise. Silky in texture, with contained intensity and a savoury length, everything contributes to a rare emotion, that of a Premier Cru that brings together fruit sensuality, terroir tension and the signature of a major winemaker. Assemblage et vinification

Made exclusively from Pinot Noir from the Les Charmes climat, this wine receives meticulous care at every stage. The harvest is manual to preserve the integrity of the berries. The traditional open-vat fermentation favours precise extraction of fruit and the finest tannins, while malolactic fermentation is carried out at 100% to round the structure and harmonise the texture. Ageing lasts 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, with about 40% new oak, from the tonnellerie Louis Latour, medium toast, to bring subtle oak nuances, added complexity and measured breathing to the wine. The result combines aromatic brilliance, depth on the palate and a velvety weave, without ever weighing the wine down.

  • Appearance : Bright ruby with garnet reflections, clear and enticing, announcing a pure, concentrated core.
  • Nose : A precise bouquet of crushed cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, lifted by cranberry and pomegranate. Notes of pepper, liquorice and mocha mingle with a distinguished floral trail.
  • Palate : Smooth, silky entry, ripe juicy red fruit, fine-grained tannins, hints of liquorice, almond and warm spices. The finish, saline and precise, extends the sensation of freshness and purity.
