Description
Located next to the legendary Château d’Yquem, Château Rieussec stands among the most prestigious estates of the Sauternes appellation. The 2007 vintage benefited from ideal conditions for the development of noble botrytis, producing perfectly concentrated and balanced grapes. This wine brilliantly showcases the richness, precision and elegance expected from a great sweet wine.
Blend and Winemaking
Château Rieussec 2007 is crafted from a blend dominated by Sémillon, providing richness and texture, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc for freshness and aromatic lift, with a touch of Muscadelle adding floral elegance. Harvesting is carried out through successive selective pickings, ensuring only perfectly botrytised berries are chosen. Fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels add depth, structure and complexity.
